Asinine Packaging makes me angry
Waking up this morning to the loud ripping of sticky tape removal from a pair of socks, made me very angry.
Not only because i was woken up before i was supposed to, but because WHY ARE THEY PUTTING TAPE AROUND SOCKS??? It leaves a sticky residue, warps and stretches out the socks, and is obnoxiously loud.
Other packaging that makes me mad is the way they encase men’s dress shirts. Those stupid pins- i mean ur buying an expensive dress shirt and they just put 37 holes all over it?!?!?!? anyone? Any other garment, if u tried to return it, with 50 minuscule holes, they wouldn’t accept it, but here its standard practice.
and finally, blister plastic packaging for things like headphones…. that even with a pair of scissors you cannot budge it… makes no sense what so ever to me. aside from the fact that these things are not so valuable, but u can seriously cut yourself up while trying to open one of these. and to top it off, if u try to return that chewed up piece of plastic after ur done wrestling it open, that’s a 15 percent restocking fee.
