I have tried long enough to keep this blog pretty neutral and impersonal but i don’t think i can do that anymore.
I work for an online dating service, setting people up by matching their profiles, for those who like the more personal touch.
And man do i have what to say about this experience.
This is a unique site for its exclusion of anyone non-Jewish, or furthermore allowing only religiously observant singles and it’s use of matchmakers.
I know there was recently, an article in the times about the upper west side single scene, which sparked my fire to write about my opinions, comments etc.

Why on earth do guys think if they are holding a musical instrument its a chic magnet. - TRUST me- it ain’t. please please stop.
I mean these are schlubby 34 year old accountants holding guitars.
