A cursed blessing

Having been blessed with very long, thick, black lashes does not come without its challenges.  Waking up in the middle of the night due to intense eye pain, only to find 2 -3 huge lashes lodged in your eye has its down sides.  And another more unfamiliar disadvantage is the twisting of the outer corner lashes of upper and lower lids together.

Exhibit A:

eye

Now, I don’t think this photo even does it justice, but its very frustrating to not be able to fit all the lashes into the eyelash curler, and you still have the corner ones all twisted up…… GRR.

SO when I heard about the new Mini Eyelash Curler from Shu Uemura I had to go try it out for my poor corner pals.

Unfortunately the closed sides do not allow you to wedge it in there without crushing neighboring lashes.

Tweezerman makes an open sided version that I find a lot more precise and practical. Turns those corner puppies up like they were frightened of the lower lash line, I do not even use my full eye lash curler on a regular basis now. AND a lot cheaper than Shu Uemura, available for no tax, free shipping and really good free samples with every order at Ariva.com
