Not making the cut

When there are beauty product winners there are inevitably beauty product losers. Here are some products that have not worked for me, and I specify ‘me’ because this does not mean they are inferior products. 

            MAC ProLongwear Lustre Lip Color

While I really liked the colors that this line came in, the texture was SO drying my lips were flaking off in chunks.  Very attractive.  

            Kiehl’s Creme D’elegance Repairateur

As I have said before, I have extremely dry skin, but even though they claim this does not have an oily residue, it really does not absorb into my skin well at all.  And yes of course I exfoliated. It has done well for other areas that are dry not on the face, but I wouldn’t spend 29 bucks on body moisturizer. ( Well not one this small anyway). The moisturizer I NOW use every night is from Kiehl’s, and this one is perfect for my skin Panthenol Protein Moisturizing Face Cream

 Then there is Loreal Pure Pigment Sticks from their HIP line.

loreal ALL I CAN SAY IS OUCH.

Now, I am not knocking the Vincent Longo Eyeshadow Trio in totality just the fact that the eyeshadow trios do not stay whole. It cracked about 5 times. And Sephora let me exchange it like 3 times, and then I just stopped going. 

Another disappointment for me was Physicians Formula Multi Colored Blush in Blushing Berry.

I am a big fan of Physicians Formula, and have been for a long time, but this particular color blush has so much red in it and at least on paler skin tones looks too ruddy and just brings out my rosacea.  They have other much more flattering shades, so be ware of Blushing Berry.
