For years I have obsessed over my behind.
AND not because it was too slight.
Not to get too graphic, but it is well endowed for my small frame. So when shopping for clothing, as much as “they” have been claiming its back in style to be bootylicious (many thanks to Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and J.lo), there was no garment that reflected its appreciation for the derriere. The hugely GAPING waist of jeans- that no belt can do justice. But alas, I have survived. And have obviously found satisfactory garments to buy and buy and buy and buy some more. Everyone has their body hangups and this is mine.

So I am now spared from being afflicted by one less fashion/ body trend.

I am trying to wrap my mind around Heidi Montag’s clothing line “Heidiwood” selling out at Kitson. I mean. Really, folks. How desperate are we to have a celebrity endorsed anything? 
Nothing was original from Heidiwood- A zebra halter top?!? Wait two weeks it will be in forever21.
And Lauren Conrad - oh wow! another babydoll-tunic-dress. 
Groundbreaking. 
Is it just me or has there not been an original design yet- it gets better… Paris’s new shoe line.
Message to parents if there are children in the room- please shield their eyes. For Paris’s House of Ill repute.

A new development is that Nicole Richie is also claiming to come out with a maternity line. Of course she qualifies as a designer- SHE WAS PREGNANT. Celebrity Pregnancy= design skill. Got it.
For a change of pace- I do and have always liked Gwen Stefanis line, L.A.M.B., especially her new line of fresh arm candy AKA bags. $$ mucho expensivo $$. 
Rachel Bilson has teamed up with DKNY…. To collaborate her junior sportswear line that will feature skinny jeans, jackets, dresses, T-shirts, sweaters and casual tops. Named Edie Rose for DKNY, will be sold in department stores like Macy’s, Lord and Taylor, and Nordstrom. Bilson says, “I want people to see these clothes for what they are, not just another line designed by another celebrity. I want the line to be taken seriously.” The line will be priced from 19.50 to 49.50.
Hmmmm, somehow I see it as just another line designed by just another celebrity- sorry bilson. Maybe I will be proved wrong. No images are avail yet, to debut this fall.
