gadgets
Being into photography means constantly wanting the latest gadgets and new technology pertaining to my craft. When they are completely out of my price range its easy to dismiss them as an impossibility. but when they are somewhat attainable - that is when i run into trouble.
I have been wanting a remote for my Nikon d300 for quite some time now. Dreaming of the possibilitites of taking pictures without touching my camera!! Especially shooting children (before my own) not having to have your face behind a camera is key for getting some of those precious smiles.
So after researching wired remotes (because those are beyond cheaper than the ideal wireless remotes), I send D to adorama to it pick one up. He calls saying that adorama sells their own brand of a wireLESS remote for 15 more dollars. UM- obviously i want that one. But he warns me that it looks a little ghetto so we should test it right away to see if we should return it. We played with it last night and it is AWESOME!!! Anything wireless brings u back to days of remote control cars and walkie talkies. ah the joys of college.
kidding.

As far as techincal product reviews go I was very impressed with the speed and the accurate focusing. it was so fun and i’m looking forward to putting it to good use. And i hope my review will not change after aforementioned future use.
Oh did i mention it was $85- very very well priced.
A second item that i have been wanting - is a neoprene fitted case for d300 so when i want to go on small outing and dont need to carry both lenses or HUGE equipment backpack i can throw this into separate bag and camera is protected. So i got that as well and might i add it looks rather phallic?
